Coucou!

Mon sejour au sud de la France, c'est presque fini!

The last five months have been interesting, humbling, at times disconcerting but always educational. I have done things i never thought of doing, true that, like riding an elephant up a steep hill in an evergreen tea garden in India, watching endless line of Laosian monks in saffron robes begin collecting their don as the first ray of sun hits the temple roofs, sailing on Mekong looking for caves full of discarded buddhas, swimming in hidden little forceful falls or calm blue waters of the mediterrnean, exhibiting my bargaining skills in centuries old grand bazzar in Istanbul (needless to say, i was no match), or smoking my first weed in the great country of China. :-)

But most of all, watching history come alive in mind's eye- churches turning into mosques and mosques into churches, borders evolving but people living, in harmony, in chaos - molding, adapting, rebelling, destroying and rebuilding. The bells of the churches, the songs at the temples, the azaans of the mosques and the chanting of the monks all converge, footsteps of the famous and the nameless pass me by, many voices in many languages tell me stories...in silence.

Three more days until i am back on the road again.

Hmm...quoi d'autre? Today i cooked some kick-ass chicken for the teachers and the staff at my language school. Hope they like it. Had debate in class whether men adore women who adore them (d'oh!) and did some grammer au haut niveau :-D. Presently watching cat Noushka do her afternoon ritual, that is to wait on the fence until sun goes down (at 21h, well it's south of France, after all), hmm, no idea for whom or what.

What can i say, i am a better writer when i am sad or bored! But hey, here's a riddle you can try to solve whilst i summon my writing mojo.
